is a group for all sky and nature lovers ! It's for APN photographers ! It's for anyone who enjoys Nature   The reason for starting this group is to support all nature photographers, and to show other members the beauty of nature from all around the world!

This is a group that is focused on getting every deviant's news from around deviantART into a quick, easy to read monthly news article. The team also uses email, twitter, Formspring, and other ways to get you information fast!

About the theme:

The contest is about the color White. It's an ALL-media nature contest. Photos, designs, poems, etc, are acceptable in this contest! The objective is to make a work which has white as the dominant color in the deviation. Since not everyone have/had snow this year, this contest is for everyone! You can find the color white in nearly everywhere!

The theme is not difficult. However, you need to use your creativity if you wanted your work to stand out from the rest

Contest Guidelines/Rules:

This Contest is open to everyone worldwide!

You MUST be a member of at least ONE of the two groups to be able to submit your entry.

This contest is open for ALL media.

Mature content(nudity) deviations are NOT allowed.

You may submit up to THREE entries. One per folder.
_{(More details can be found under "How to Enter".)}

You may submit a deviation of a certain medium to ONE of the two groups only.
_{(i.e. If you submit a photograph for example to SkyAndNatureClub, you may not submit another photograph to DevNews)}

Your entry MUST be submitted to your gallery between 2009 and 2011.
_{(We will not accept any deviation submitted to your gallery before 2009)}

Online entries only. Hard copies are not accepted at any time.

If you use stock, please credit the owner. Your entry won't be accepted otherwise.

Entries must abide by deviantART Rules.

The Contest's Deadline is February 28th, 2011.

Please think carefully before sending an entry! You won't be able to change the entry you submit!

Judges have the final word. Deviations will be judged on quality, and use of the theme. Judges will not take notice of aspects such as the number of favorites, comments, popularity, etc. or to pieces that have received a Daily Deviation.

How to Enter:

There are 3 folders to submit to in each group:
1 for Traditional/Photograph/Anything Created with hands
1 for Computer/Designs/Anything Created digitally
1 for Literature


You may submit only ONE deviation to each folder, otherwise all your entries will be DISQUALIFIED.

Submit your entries to SkyAndNatureClub's folder.

OR

to devNEWS's folder.

You will not get a message in your correspondence items that you submitted an entry, but don't worry, we will receive your entry. Once you submit, you should get a message that says: "Your submission is being reviewed".
